This is usually a Vista related issue. This is a very common issue in Vista if the power goes out, or if the user uses Ctrl+Alt+Del to kill a program.
The solution is to delete your Micro Niche Finder data files. That means you'll lose all your past searches but it's the only thing that will fix it.
Do a windows search and find the following files and delete them all: (there are probably 2 copies of each)
results.dbf
results.cdx
searches.dbf
searches.cdx
I recommend you try deleting just the results.dbf and results.cdx first and try to run Micro Niche Finder. That may fix the issues and then you'll still have your old search data but if not you'll have to delete searches.dbf and .cdx as well.
Of course this is going to happen again if the power goes out. So I recommend you back up your data files every day (or more often)
I have a video here that shows you how to locate these files:

My Micro Niche Finder has started showing a number of results in the left column that should have the keyword phrase. The first half of the column is like this. Should I reinstall it or how can this be fixed?
My Microniche finder comes up with an error message when I try and open it.
It says "error number 2066"
Should I reinstall it?
Also do you have a copy of my clickbank receipt number? I cant find it anywhere?
1,190,000 results
1,250,000 results
1,270,000 results
These are showing in upper left column
My Micro Niche Finder tells how many searches but not what the phrases are. I checked for updates and downloaded the only one that was there, but this didn't correct the problem.
I can open Micro Niche Finder. I have version 2.2.2 and I'm still using Windows XP. This is the message I get when I try to open MNF. " An error occurred while attemping to open the SEARCHES table. "
What is my problem? Ihope you don't tell me to start over.
I am still having the same trouble as rick and debra with the numbers in the phrase column. How do we fix this?
I watched the video and my search is not showing the results. files. What now?
To clarify, I am running Vista (starting to hate it), And when I run a "Exact Phrase Match" I get a "Google has blocked search requests. Try again later." error message.
When I first used the MNF after download it worked great with no problems. I put the computer on "hibernate" for a few hours then when I came back it again worked fine then gradually went bad. I would get results for some EPM's and now I get the above error for every one.
Update: I went into tools and deleted cookies, temp files, and history and apparently fixed the problem (Google IP Block thing) if that is what was wrong.
Please Note: This blog is for finding solutions to common problems. If your issue is not listed here you need to email support at micronichefinder@gmail.com and let Kevin know exactly what problem you are having.
That being said, it appears that most of the problems that are posted here have been addressed in the current release of the software. I suggest you click the "Check for Program Updates" link on the main screen and install the latest version.
Once again, if you still experience issues you can email Kevin at micronichefinder@gmail.com
